Biography
Lavoy Bray currently holds the position of Deputy Director, Psychiatric/Behavioral Health nursing course for the US Army. He is the former national Vice President for the American Assembly for Men in Nursing (AAMN). He has also served as an AAMN Board member for three years prior to the term of Vice President. He has served as Chair and Co-Chair for the Membership and New Chapter Committee for six years. He is the 2011 recipient of the Lee Cohen Award which recognizes one AAMN member who has provided outstanding service to the organization and best represents the organization’s goals and purpose. He has served two terms on the Board of the Virginia League of Nursing. He holds multiple memberships in various professional organizations and is a national, state, and local nursing speaker.
