Abdulqadir Nashwan is the Director of Nursing for Education and Practice Development at HMGH and is a Member of Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) in Qatar. He received his bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) in 2007 & a master’s degree in Nursing Oncology (MSN) in 2011 from the Hashemite University (HU) in Jordan. He has assumed different roles in nursing oncology, starting with working as a registered nurse, charge nurse, head nurse, nurse educator, and nurse research scientist. In 2015, he was appointed as a Senior Adjunct Instructor at the faculty of nursing at the University of Calgary in Qatar (UCQ).

His current research interests include Research Utilization, Evidenced-Based Practice, Clinical Hematology, Medical Oncology, Nursing Informatics, and Cancer Immunotherapy. Mr. Nashwan has published more than 50 research articles in peer-reviewed journals such as Blood, BMJ, and Journal of Pediatric Oncology Nursing. In November 2015, he received Award of Merit for Placing HMC at the Cutting Edge of Cancer Research as a part of the Stars of Excellence Program introduced by HMC. In October 2016, Mr. Nashwan completed a Cancer Biology & Therapeutics (CBT) Program, provided by Harvard Medical School (HMS). Mr. Nashwan has been committed to mentoring and encouraging young clinical investigators throughout his career; he has formally supervised the training of more than a dozen MSc candidates and nursing fellows. His expertise is routinely sought in an advisory capacity both nationally and internationally; he has served as a member of health policy subgroup at ICN Nurse Practitioner/Advance Practice Nursing Network (APNN), also he has served a reviewer for several reputable journals (e.g., Journal of Applied Nursing Research, Asia-Pacific Journal of Oncology Nursing, and Medical Science Monitor) and as an editorial board member for several journals.

Dr. Gusumalee Potipatsa is a faculty and the former head of Children and Adolescent Nursing Department at Boromarachonnani Nursing College, Udonthani, Thailand and is an Assistant Editor in Chief and Peer reviewer of The Journal of Nurses Association of Thailand (Journal of Nursing and Health). She received her Ph.D. in Nursing Science from the University of Illinois at Chicago, USA in 2009. Her nursing studies for bachelor and master degrees were in Thailand. She has assumed different roles in nursing and midwifery, starting with working as a registered nurse, nurse educator, nurse research scientist and a research coach.

Her current research interests include Research Utilization, Evidenced-Based Practice, NCDs management, transcultural nursing and child and family health. Dr. Potipatsa has published many research and academic articles in peer-reviewed journals. She has dedicated herself as a professor of nursing to mentoring and encouraging young clinical investigators throughout her career; she has formally supervised the training of more than a 100 nursing fellows and health professionals. Her expertise is routinely sought in an advisory capacity both nationally and internationally; she has served as an Assistant Editor in Chief and a reviewer for several journals since 2009.

Dario Furnari is a PhD in Neuroscience, Research Psicology,Traumatology & Orthopedic, Project Manager , Strength and Conditioning specialist Physical Therapy,Skynesiology and Spinology, Exercise Physiology,Spa Therapist Physiology,Support Health Worker, aesthetic medical, sports masseur, expert in postural gymnastics, psychology and psychomotion for the elderly and special children or with learning disabilities. Coach and athletic trainer of various sports (football, swimming, volleyball, basketball, hockey, tennis, swimming). Spa&Clinical Manager,Lecture in neuro rehabilitation kynesiology, specialist in aesthetic gymnastics, weight-loss and pre and post natal, Osteopathy, Psicomotricist, aesthetic and lymphatic drainage. The lines of research on which I worked at the Department of Biotechnology and Biomedical Sciences, section of applied physiology and kinesiology and motion control, have been in the field of neuroscience, in particular in the role of beta-amyloid and glycoprotein F3 in the synaptic plasticity of hippocampal memory of mice and then in Alzheimer's disease; I dealt with behavior and various behavioral tests in mice; of electrophysiology of in vitro slices of hippocampus, stereotaxy and cannulation implantation, administration of drugs and animal welfare. In addition, I have helped other laboratories in the analysis of human movement, in nueropharmacology, in motor learning and control, in the performance of elite athletes in training programming, in rehabilitation, in the measurement of lactate in the physiology physical exercise.

MICHELLE MARTIN FRANKLIN is a Director of Nursing, Quality and Patient Safety, 2018-Present As the first in a newly established role of Director of Clinical Services, 2 Nurse Managers, a Quality Manager, a Service Excellence leader, and the manager for Occupational Health and Safety, report directly to me. As a member of the Executive Team, I have direct accountability for Service Excellence, Nursing, Dietetics and Diabetes Nurse Educators, Occupational Health and Safety, Infection Control, Quality and Patient Safety and Policy Management. • Established position control and budget for all departments. Updated job descriptions and developed a clinical ladder program for nursing. Revised all departments organizational structure and gained approval for 1.3 million US dollar budget. • Reviewed and revised Quality and Patient Safety Plan, Nursing Plan for Care and Operations, established Clinical Governance Program and Patient Experience Program. • Facilitated organization-wide education related to Patient Experience and Patient Safety. • Participated in corporate initiatives to establish an integrated health network of seven assets. • Worked with executive team members to establish a Medical Staff Governance Committee, Quality and Patient Safety Committee, update new caregiver orientation, and establish a process for reporting and resolving patient complaints.

As a Director of Surgery & Critical Care and a volunteer-surgeon in remote parts of the world, I’ve seen and managed some of the most complicated cases. As a clinician and administrator, I've led the transformation of a local trauma program into an ACS-verified Level 1 Trauma Center at Richmond University Medical Center. As an educator, I've been commissioned by medical schools and hospitals around the world to devise surgical curricula and board review materials for over 20 years. An award-winning research scholar, I’m also perennially invited to present at the most prestigious international conferences on Surgery, Trauma and Critical Care. I'm currently a senior fellow at ACS, ACCP, and East.
